Zoë Johnson
Zoë Johnson is a psychedelic guide, mental health counselor, art therapist, and ceramic artist dividing her time between Santa Fe, NM, Boulder, CO, Minneapolis, MN and the Big Island of Hawaii. Her work is expressive, organic, at times highly detailed or elegantly simple. Her ceramic work has been described as "...a sublime representation of living in a sea of inner journeys" which captures the essence of it quite well ... inner journeys are her specialty. Her home decor pieces occupy the space between functional and decorative, they are often used as physical representations of memory or gratitude, evoking a moment in time, a fleeting sea breeze, the salty reminiscence of a day at the beach.
Influenced by the human psyche, the earth, the sun, the sky, and the vast oceans that embrace so much of our planet's surface and support such an incredible array of life, Zoë's high fire porcelain vessels and jewelry nurture a deep connection with the natural world.
Zoë exhibits her work worldwide. On the Big Island, she's represented by Tiffany's Art Agency in Hawi.
